Butterfly Resist

I took some of my new goodies to stamp with a friend. I hadn't stamped in a long time but this is what I came up with. I kept this card simple as I was making it for my mom. She doesn't like a whole lot of layers or"stuff" on her cards. THis card features the new oval Designer Label embossing folder.

Rubber Inkspiration Tips:
  • Stamp & color background piece in Lucky Limeade & Calypso Coral before embossing with the square lattice folder.
  • Emboss resist technique: Blot off color before going onto project to avoid stark/harsh sponging lines. Alternatively, start off the paper & sponge into the center.
  • Dress up the inside of the card too. I used a simple mak to over stamp the butterfly.

  1. Hi Wanda,

Beautiful card both inside and out. Your oval cut out really highlights the butterfly. I love how they are in flight inside of the card. Thank you for stopping to visit me.

  2. I love this card - especially the inside (?) with the saying. We just lost my hubby's sister, and I am continuing to send cards her her husband (my bro-in-law), so I may case this a bit, thanks for sharing.
